Our standard
Clarity begins with precise diagnostics.
Vision often changes slowly – and is only noticed once everyday life becomes harder. We take the time to explain the findings before any treatment is decided.

Technology you never have to notice
Equipment is not an end in itself. It helps us detect findings early, plan operations precisely and compare progression reliably.
- Retinal OCT – – shows the layers of the macula without any contact. Answers questions in macular degeneration, diabetes and glaucoma.
- Biometry before cataract surgery – – measures your eye so that the power of the intraocular lens fits as precisely as possible.
- Visual field & eye pressure – – make the course of glaucoma comparable over many years.
- Outpatient surgery area in Stadtmitte – – with fixed protocols for hygiene and safety, and short distances to follow-up care at your practice.

Eye emergency
When you should not wait for an appointment
During consulting hours: call us immediately and say “Augennotfall” (eye emergency). Outside consulting hours: go to an eye clinic or the ophthalmological emergency service.
- Sudden, marked loss of vision
- A shadow or “curtain” in your field of vision, new flashes of light or a “shower of soot”
- A severely painful red eye, particularly with nausea or deteriorating vision
- Injury or chemical burn – in case of a chemical burn, rinse immediately with plenty of water and then go straight to an ophthalmologist
